Honda on Arapahoe has an outstanding opportunity for an Accounting Clerk/Assistant to join the Holman family!

What will you do?

The Accounting Clerk/Assistant is a vital support role in the accounting office at Honda on Arapahoe, perfect for a person who is starting out in their career or looking to make a career shift.

In this role, you will ...

  • Process onsite cash receipts and balance daily cash deposits
  • Process incoming vehicles and manage dealership owner documents (i.e. titles)
  • Submit vendor invoices for processing
  • Determine proper account coding for disbursements
  • Submit documents to the Centralized Accounting office in Vancouver, Washington
  • Review car deal contract documents for completeness with compliance, titling, funding, and accounting
  • Support and assist other accounting office staff in registering and titling vehicles
  • Work closely with other positions in the dealership, including the receptionist and greeters and fill in as needed

In addition to the duties noted above, employees in this role may also participate in other dealership positions on a volunteer or ad hoc basis. Opportunities include but are not limited to serving as Wellness Champion; leadership roles in employee recognition programs; or chair of the safety committee.

This is a high growth potential role, well suited to introduce potential candidates to a career in automotive retail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player, professional appearance
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and email software (preferably Outlook)
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation: $19/hour
