Summit Funding Group, Inc. is an established and growing equipment leasing company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Financial Bank located in Mason, OH. Summit is hiring a full-time Accounting Analyst to assist the Accounting Department in creating timely and accurate financial statements and to complete special financial projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process all Misc Invoicing in Lease Plus
• Process lease terminations in Lease Plus
• Process Lease and Loan booking for Middle Market in Lease Plus
• Process month-to-month Renewals in Lease Plus
• Process Transfer and Assumptions in Lease Plus
• Process lease rewrites in Lease Plus
• Input Company 5 Master Journal Entry monthly
• Process lease rent changes
• Prepare journal entries on a daily and monthly basis
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Working closely with other personnel to assure the accuracy of billing, payment and all corresponding journal entries.
• Preparing required month-end reports
• Serve as back up for other Accounting Analyst
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Qualification/Requirements:

• Education
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance with 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple assignments
• Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Knowledge of Great Plains and/or Lease Plus helpful
