RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a highly regarded asset management firm is seeking an Accountant in Boston, MA to join their company.Summary:The client offers a great compensation package, bonuses, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and flexibility. - Created monthly balance sheets
- Give assistance to preparing financial reports
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures Prepare P&L forecast and budget of certain subsidiaries
- As an Accountant, you will assist external Auditors
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting and/or related field required
- Big 4 experience - need at least 2 years with Public Accounting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - especially Excel and Infor a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS requirements
- Self-Starter, minimal hand holding
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
- Able to support reporting and accounting requirements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
