  • We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Specialist in our Plains, PA Storefront location


The Account Specialist is a critical position within Cornell Storefront Systems. Coordinators handle dispatching, following up and quoting with vendors and customers to ensure jobs are managed and completed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Dispatching service calls, following up with vendors throughout lifespan of service call.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are always up to date on the latest information available. Situations within each job will be unique and may require additional steps.
  • Managing service calls for but not limited to, Coiling Service Doors, Rolling Grilles, Side-Folding Gates, Scissor Gates, Sectional Doors, Strip Doors, Passage Doors and Frames, Dock levelers, Locks, Safes, Glass, and Window Film with Customer and CSS expectations for a timely updates and completion confirmation.
  • Shows creativity and resourcefulness to get accurate and timely information from Vendors/Suppliers.
  • Offers effective solutions when vendor timeline does not meet our requirements.
  • Enters all relevant information into our systems; accurately and timely.
  • Knowledge of Customer Requirements and expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide a high level of Customer Service
  • Build strong win-win relationships with other departments within Cornell, including Vendor Relations, New Projects, Business Development, and Accounting.
  • Actively supports colleagues and team towards effective change, encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Actively a team participant, resolving conflicts, building appropriate alliances and networks and contributes fully as a member.
  • Optimizes team skills and uses appropriate project management methods to produce workable plans, define priorities, and set realistic deadlines.

  • Has experience (4+ years) providing superior service within the vendor relationship using results orientation and quality practices. Considers the business through the eyes of a customer
  • Works to achieve all goals, targets and objectives.

  • Optimizes team skills and uses appropriate project management methods to produce workable plans, define priorities and set realist deadlines.

  • Demonstrate a logical thought process involving all relevant parties with consideration given to qualitative and quantitative measures.
  • Takes proactive ownership of personal and professional development.
  • Communicates using effective interpersonal and influencing skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Understands and supports CSSI's mission, strategy and goals.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, email and in Internet
  • High School degree or equivalency required
