Overview
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the reconciliation of the servicing bank account, various treasury functions, reporting cash reconciliations and investor remittances and invoicing the funds for recovery of servicing expenses.

Job Description

  • Reconciliations of servicing bank accountsComplete assigned reconciliations accurately, on a daily basis
  • Research and clear open reconciling items to prevent aging
  • Treasury functionsInitiate wires - as needed
  • Approve wires/ACH - daily
  • Print manual checks - as needed
  • Obtain cashier's checks - as needed
  • Open/change/close bank accounts - as needed
  • Review operating cash balance (daily) and fund accordingly (as needed)
  • Reporting to cash reconciliations and investor remittancesDaily update servicing cash activity at loan level, including sub serviced loans
  • Monthly, query servicing cash against Investor Accounting reporting files
  • Identify and clear discrepancies between reporting files and cash received
  • Coordinate investor reporting and remittances with Investor Accounting , Fund Accounting and certain investors
  • Execute remittance wires timely and accurately per servicing contracts
  • Invoicing to FundsPrepare monthly invoices to the Funds for reimbursement of modification fees, refinance expenses, LPMI and non recoverable corporate advances
  • Transfer reimbursement received from the Funds to appropriate company accounts
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Proficiency in Access a plus
  • Prior experience in bank account reconciliation is necessary
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
