Job Info

- Performs a variety of minor repairs and services to maintain automobiles, buses, trucks, tractors, refueling vehicles, military vehicles, LSV/OGMVC's, material handling equipment, and special purpose equipment.
- Places and maintains decals on vehicles.
- Checks and replaces batteries.
- Rotates repairs and replaces tires.
- Drains, flushes, and replaces engine, transmission and differential grease and oils. Checks, cleans, calibrates and replaces spark plugs.
- Cleans and replaces oil and air filters.
- Adjusts brakes, replaces windshield wipers and similar minor parts.
- Assists on major overhaul jobs by disassembling and cleaning parts, repairing components such as generators and water pumps, and replacing thermostats, points, and electrical wiring and other items.
- Maintains tools, equipment, and cleans work areas. Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD prevention and safety at all times.
- Must use proper customer service etiquette.
- Performs other associated duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secure Area badge and be flight line qualified. (where applicable)
- Must possess or be able to obtain National Agency Check (NAC).
