Join the Everest 2023 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry's leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios. The Program will run for approximately 10 weeks beginning June 2023.

Your Impact & Opportunity

  • You will assist with summarizing the earnings calls for companies in Everest equity portfolio
  • Summarize published research on markets and individual companies
  • Develop a summary report of the internal equity research
  • Produce reports using FactSet and Bloomberg
  • Research the asset allocation of peer reinsurance and insurance companies
  • Help to prepare the quarter-end report for the second quarter
  • Deliver a presentation regarding the overall asset allocation
  • Participate in leader led events, collaborate on cross-functional group projects, and engage in growth developmental activities

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
  • You are a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring Finance, Business, Accounting, or similar field of study.
  • Desire to learn how institutions like insurance companies invest their assets
  • Conversant in investment terminology and concepts
  • Comfortable learning to use investment-oriented software like Bloomberg
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills
  • Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities
