SUMMARY: This entry level management position is responsible for learning all aspects of supervising various protein production lines. This position will work under an experienced supervisor to gain the necessary training needed to lead teams of people to produce a high quality safe product that meets customer specifications. This position will work with operation support departments such as Human Resources Accounting Maintenance etc. and may require the holder to work various shifts during the training phase in order to learn additional facets of the operations. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Animal Welfare Check and MVR required.

Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience. Poultry Operations degree or other agricultural related degree is preferred.

Experience: Experience preferred but not required.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.

Travel: Some travel may be required to attend training classes.

This position is for live production. Will have training in all aspects of live to include hatchery, feed mill, live haul, broilers and breeders. Good communication skills and ability to work with people and poultry.
